Taxonomy
Latusastrea rubrolineata was named by Löser et al. (2009). It is not extant. Its type locality is Copper, Benbow Inlier, which is in a Hauterivian shallow subtidal limestone in the Devils Racecourse Formation of Jamaica.
It was recombined as Latusastraeopsis rubrolineata by Baron-Szabo (2009); it was recombined as Elasmocoenia rubrolineata by Kiessling (2014).
