Phryssonotus hystrix

Taxonomy
Lophonotus hystrix was named by Menge (1854). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber, Danziger Naturkundemuseum Menge collection, which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland. It is the type species of Phryssonotus, Lophonotus.

It was recombined as Phryssonotus hystrix by Scudder (1885) and Su et al. (2019).
