Astrocoenia portoricoensis
Taxonomy
Astrocoenia portoricensis was named by Vaughan (1919). It is not extant. Its type locality is USGS 3191, Lares, which is in a Chattian perireef or subreef limestone in the Pepino Formation of Puerto Rico.
It was recombined as Actinastrea portoricensis by Jung (1971); it was corrected as Astrocoenia portoricoensis by López-Pérez (2005).
