Gallomesovelia grioti
Taxonomy
Gallomesovelia grioti was named by Nel et al. (2014). Its type specimen is MNHN.F.51098, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is River Dorches, northwest of Orbagnoux mine, which is in a Kimmeridgian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in France. It is the type species of Gallomesovelia.
