Plioaphis subhercynica

Taxonomy
Plioaphis subhercynica was named by Heie (1968). Its type specimen is GZG 630-4, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Willershausen clay pit (GZG collection), which is in a Piacenzian pond marl in Germany. It is the type species of Plioaphis.
