Taxonomy
Lyonsia subaequilateralis was named by Lundgren (1895). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Cape Stewart (black limestone), which is in a Pliensbachian carbonate limestone in the Cape Stewart Beds Formation of Greenland.
