Priapulites konecniorum
Taxonomy
Priapulites konecniorum was named by Schram (1973). Its type specimen is FMNH PE21555 and is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Pit 11, Braidwood, Mazon Creek (FMNH coll), which is in a Westphalian D deltaic mudstone in the Carbondale Formation of Illinois. It is the type species of Priapulites.
