Taxonomy
Maldybulakia angusi was named by Edgecombe (1998). Its type specimen is AM F.102565, an exoskeleton (trunk pleurotergite (B-pleurotergite)), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Near Three Oaks, Taemas district, which is in a Lochkovian/Pragian fluvial sandstone in the Sugarloaf Creek Formation of Australia.
