Cytherella nuciformis

Taxonomy
Cythere (Cytherella) nuciformis was named by Jones (1850). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Byers Quarry, Marsden, Durham, which is in a Wuchiapingian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Ford Formation of the United Kingdom.

It was recombined as Cythere nuciformis by Geinitz (1861); it was recombined as Cytherella nuciformis by Branson (1948).
