Bambolinetta lignitifila
Taxonomy
Anas lignitifila was named by Portis (1884). Its type specimen is MGPT-PU 37728, a partial skeleton (ncomplete skull, the right wing, portions of the right tibiotarsus and tarsometatarsus, and most of the trunk skeleton), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Bambolinetta lignitifila by Mayr and Pavia (2014) and Zelenkov (2017).
