Butler et al. 2016Macropodids with the combination of anteriorly expanded masseteric canal confluent with the mandib- ular canal that extends to below m1; sinuous i1 with enamel on the buccal surface only and with dorsal and ventral flanges pres- ent; dentary with a marked inflection of the ventral border below m3; shallow buccinators sulcus; elongate third premolar; bilopho- dont molars; m4 not greatly reduced in size; no protostylid on m1; no posterior cingulid on lower molars; slight postmetacristid and postentocristid on m1; parietal-alisphenoid contact; and StD present on M1.
