Parallelodon striatus

Taxonomy
Mytulites striatus was named by von Schlotheim (1816). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Gl├╝cksbrunn, Thuringen, which is in a Wuchiapingian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Zechstein Formation of Germany.

It was recombined as Byssoarca striata by King (1850); it was recombined as Macrodon striata by Howse (1857); it was recombined as Arca striata by Geinitz (1861); it was recombined as Parallelodon striatus by Newell (1955), Logan (1967) and Muromtseva and Guskov (1984).
