Carsidarina jarzembowskii
Taxonomy
Palaeoaphalara jarzembowskii was named by Klimaszewski (1993). Its type specimen is BMB 018424, an exoskeleton, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Thorness Bay, Bembridge Marls, Isle of Wight (BMB coll), which is in a Priabonian lagoonal/restricted shallow subtidal lime mudstone in the Bembridge Marls Formation of the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Palaeoaphalara.
It was recombined as Carsidarina jarzembowskii by Drohojowska (2019).
