Taxonomy
Chonetes radiatulus was named by Barrande (1879) [Lectotype selected by Havlıcek (1952, p. 405)]. Its type specimen is CD 1569, a valve (dorsal internal mould), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Chonetoidea radiatula by Havlicek (1967), Cocks (2010), Cocks (2014) and Popov and Cocks (2014).
