Paleoploiariola venosa

Taxonomy
Paleoploiariola venosa was named by Maldonado Capriles et al. (1993). Its type specimen is Poinar HE 4-23, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic. It is the type species of Paleoploiariola.
