Taxonomy
Burriera dunii was named by Laseron (1910). Its type specimen is AM F.20175 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Burrier, which is in a Roadian offshore siliciclastic in the Wandrawandian Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Burriera.
