Mogharaeceras priscum

Taxonomy
Knemiceras priscum was named by Douvillé (1916). Its type specimen is FSL.EM1871, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Bir Lagama, Gabal Maghara, Sinai, which is in a Barremian marine horizon in Egypt. It is the type species of Mogharaeceras.

It was recombined as Mogharaeceras priscum by Bulot et al. (2011).
