Taxonomy
Cretowinnertzia angustala was named by Gagné (1977). Its type specimen is CAS 25, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Cedar Lake (CNC 1950 collection), which is in a Campanian terrestrial amber in Canada. It is the type species of Cretowinnertzia.
