Taxonomy
Anthracoblattina archangelskyi was named by Pinto and Mendes (2002). Its type specimen is BA PB 640, a tegmen, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Lote 11, Betancourt, which is in a Bashkirian/Moscovian terrestrial mudstone in the Rio Genoa Formation of Argentina.
