Taxonomy
Pararchiconis quievreuxi was named by Nel (1991). Its type specimen is MNHN IPM-R.54244, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Alsace potash field, Anna pit (Quievreux collection), which is in a Rupelian lacustrine - large mudstone/evaporite in France.
