Leptodesma (Leptodesma) adaroi was named by Amler (2010). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Valle Laoz - Bed No. 32 [Gordon Mbr, Nocedo Fm], which is in the Frasnian of sandstone the Nocedo Formation Spain.
