Chondrocoenia idahoensis
Taxonomy
Cyathocoenia idahoensis was named by Squires (1956) [Cerioid colonial coral]. It is not extant. Its type specimen is AMNH 27963, an other (corallum). Its type locality is Lewiston locality, which is in a Sevatian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in the Martin Bridge Limestone Formation of Idaho.
It was recombined as Astrocoenia idahoensis by Squires (1956) and Riedel (1991); it was recombined as Actinastraea idahoensis by Stanley (1979); it was recombined as Chondrocoenia idahoensis by Kiessling (2014).
