Prokop 2004 (Stromatocystites flexibilis) | Stromatocystites with loosely articulated theca; ambulacral flooring plates and side plates are thin and do not form a strongly elevated ambulacral area. Theca is sub-circular in outline and relatively flat in cross section. Marginal outer rim plates are only slightly more tightly sutured than the loosely sutured interambulacral plates on the oral and aboral surfaces. Interambulacral plates on both oral and aboral surfaces are smaller and more numerous. Attachment disc is smaller and is loosely articulated. |
