Archepsychops triassicus

Taxonomy
Archepsychops triassica was named by Tillyard (1919). Its type specimen is GSQI137, a forewing (Forewing Fragment), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Denmark Hill Insect Bed (Dunstan 1915-1916 collection), which is in a Norian pond siltstone in the Blackstone Formation of Australia. It is the type species of Archepsychops.

It was corrected as Archepsychops triassicus by Peng et al. (2011) and Lambkin (2014).
