Taxonomy
Stolmorhynchia solaris was named by Babanova (1966). Its type specimen is Dept. of Geology and Paleontology No 3856/8 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Meganom Peninsula, which is in a Callovian carbonate limestone in Ukraine.
