Persephonichthys chthonica

Taxonomy
Persephonichthys chthonica was named by Pardo et al. (2014). Its type specimen is UNSM 32104, a skull (articulated skull with partial postcranium), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Raney Farm, which is in an Asselian pond siltstone in the Eskridge Formation of Nebraska. It is the type species of Persephonichthys.
