Taxonomy
Calvirhynchia kubanensis was named by Kamyschan (1967). Its type specimen is No. 6/2135 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Krasnogorka (left bank, Subfurcatum), which is in a Subfurcatum carbonate claystone in the Russian Federation.
