Taxonomy
Capillirhynchia kardonikensis was named by Kamyschan (1968). Its type specimen is No. 6/1375 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khusy-Kardonik (Sowerbyi), which is in a Discites carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
