Taxonomy
Cubanirhynchia parva was named by Kamyshan (1973). Its type specimen is No. 6/1406 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Khusy-Kardonik (Sowerbyi), which is in a Discites carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
