Taxonomy
Cubanirhynchia rostovtzevi was named by Kamyschan (1968). Its type specimen is No. 6/1485 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pregradnaya (right bank, Humphresianum), which is in a Humphresianum carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation. It is the type species of Cubanirhynchia.
