Taxonomy
Parvirhynchia asymmetrica was named by Kamyshan (1973). Its type specimen is No. 6/1655 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Pregradnaya (left bank, oolite), which is in a Scissum carbonate limestone in the Russian Federation.
