Taxonomy
Cretacallis polysensoria was named by Shaposhnikov (1979). Its type specimen is PIN 3559/4596, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Bon Tsagaan (PIN collection 3559), which is in an Aptian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Dzun-Bain Formation of Mongolia. It is the type species of Cretacallis.
