Plateumaris virens
Taxonomy
Plateumaris virens was named by Hayashi (1999). Its type specimen is OMNH-TI-97, an exoskeleton (pronotum and elytra), and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Osb6, Shibanomata River, Oguni area, which is in a Calabrian terrestrial sandstone in the Uonuma Formation of Japan.
