A. Williams 1962Elongately oval Orbiculoidea; pedicle valve with a subcentral apex and a pedicle tube about 2 mm. long; brachial valve, almost nine-tenths as wide as long, flattening peripherally beyond the 7-mm. growth-stage, but initially obtusely conical with the apex just over one-third the length of the valve from the posterior margin; ornamentation consisting of fine, raised, concentric ridges separated by flat, wide interspaces and numbering 5 or 6 per millimetre within 3.5 ram. of the umbo.
