Taxonomy
Parastenaropodites nervosa was named by Storozhenko (1996). Its type specimen is PIN 2240/2123, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Madygen, PIN collection 2240, Dzhailoucho area, which is in a Ladinian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the Madygen Formation of Kyrgyzstan.
It was recombined as Austroidelia nervosa by Aristov (2014).
