Williams 1962 | Bimuria with the pedicle valve about one-half as deep as long, tending to be as wide as long in adult stages of growth and predominantly with a rectimarginate anterior commissure, ventral median fold very rarely developed; growth of comae commonly subdued on the pedicle valve but, when present, originating at about 6 mm. from the umbo; median septum of brachial valve obscured by secondary shell deposition-, outer ridges to the lophophore and muscle apparatus well defined, curved and convergent with the submedian septa. |
