Taxonomy
Stropheodonta corrugatella was named by Davidson (1871).

It was recombined as Gunnarella corrugatella by Mitchell (1977).

Synonyms
  • Orthis corrugata was named by Portlock (1843). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Desertcreat, Pomeroy Inlier, which is in a Cautleyan coastal sandstone in the Killey Bridge Formation of the United Kingdom.

    It was replaced with Stropheodonta corrugatella by Davidson (1871).
