Ochrotrichia (Ochrotrichia) brodzinskyi was named by Wells and Wichard (1989). It is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Wichard collection, Bonn), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic.
