Miacis parvivorus

Taxonomy
Miacis parvivorus was named by Cope (1872) [genotype]. It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Black's Fork, which is in a Bridgerian terrestrial horizon in the Bridger Formation of Wyoming.

It was recombined as Viverravus parvivorus by Cope (1873); it was recombined as Vulpavus parvivorus by Wortman and Matthew (1899), Wortman (1901) and Hay (1902).
