Ampliceps dubius
Taxonomy
Scelocamptus dubius was named by Arnoldi (1977). Its type specimen is PIN 2066/3037, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2066), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan.
It was recombined as Gratshevicar dubius by Legalov (2009) and Legalov (2010); it was recombined as Ampliceps dubius by Legalov (2012), Gratshev and Legalov (2014) and Legalov (2015).
