Canteronecta irajae

Taxonomy
Canteronecta irajae was named by Mazzoni (1985). Its type specimen is CORD-PZ 2008, an exoskeleton, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is La Cantera, Sierra del Gigantea, which is in an Aptian lacustrine - small siliciclastic in the La Cantera Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Canteronecta.
