Benoibates chiapasensis
Taxonomy
Exoripoda chiapasensis was named by Woolley (1971). Its type specimen is UCMP 13530, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is UCMP B-7047, Simojovel, which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in the Mazantic Shale Formation of Mexico.
It was recombined as Benoibates chiapasensis by Dunlop et al. (2013).
