Benthesikyme gracilis
Taxonomy
Leptotrachelus gracilis was named by Davis (1887). Its type specimen is BMNH 48086, a skeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Sahil Alma (BMNH collection), which is in a Santonian carbonate lime mudstone in Lebanon.
It was recombined as Dercetis gracilis by Goody (1969); it was recombined as Benthesikyme gracilis by Alvarado-Ortega and Díaz-Cruz (2021).
