Taxonomy
Pulchellaranea pedunculata was named by Poinar (2015). Its type specimen is Poinar A-10-267, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Dominican amber (Poinar coll), which is in a Burdigalian/Langhian terrestrial amber in the Dominican Republic. It is the type species of Pulchellaranea.
