Taxonomy
Piarorhynchia priborgavica was named by Tchorzhevsky (1970). Its type specimen is KSU No. 10/72 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Priborzhavskogo (quarry), Domerian, which is in a Pliensbachian marine marl in Ukraine.
