Taxonomy
Muirwoodella muirwoodae was named by Tchorzhevsky (1974). Its type specimen is No 10/633 KSU and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Priborzhavskogo (quarry), Upper Bajocian, which is in a Bajocian marine horizon in Ukraine.
