Clorinda superundata was named by Jin and Copper (2000) [= 1938 Clorinda undata (J. de C. Sowerby); St. Joseph, p. 312, pl. 6, figs. 1-9; pl. 7, figs. 13-15; pl. 8, figs. 4-7.]. Its type specimen is GSC 117859 and is a 3D body fossil.
