Kafirnigania was named by Kats (1962). Its type is Kafirnigania pentangulata.

It was assigned to Dallininae by Kats (1962).

Synonyms

Kafirnigania babatagensis was named by Kats (1962). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Babatag, which is in a Turonian carbonate limestone in Uzbekistan.

It was considered a nomen nudum by Kats (1962).
