Taxonomy
Kafirnigania pentangulata was named by Kats (1962). Its type specimen is No. 4--770/1 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Babatag, which is in a Turonian carbonate limestone in Uzbekistan. It is the type species of Kafirnigania.
