Carbochthonius antrimensis
Taxonomy
Carbochthonius antrimensis was named by Subías and Arillo (2002). Its type specimen is UM-27134, an exoskeleton, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Fair Head, Ballycastle, which is in a Brigantian wet floodplain siliciclastic in the United Kingdom. It is the type species of Carbochthonius.
